On March 17, 2023, with the positive response and support of each business unit, PLM project was successfully launched. The system formulates project template based on Newport experience and practice to ensure the inheritance and efficiency, realize the multi-dimensional collaboration across fields, application ends and enterprises, accelerate product launch and order delivery, and improve product quality. The PLM project is scheduled to be officially launched in July 2023.

Main contents of the meeting:
1. Manager Shuanghong Hu introduced the presentation of PLM application value, the project organization members, and the overall implementation plan of the project;
2. According to R & D manager Zhifu Huang, PLM is a new module of digital and a precedent for Newport, which requires our participation and support. In the process, we also need to put forward ideas, jointly build the PLM digital platform, and make efforts for the quality of Newport product development to a higher level.
3. Mr. Chen finally said that 2023 is the year of digital turning point, MES is the management site execution, and PLM project management is the management product life cycle, which is equally important and requires the equal attention of everyone;
